BIMOTA BRAKE PADS

Brembo Brake Pads

Brembo now offer brake pads both for their own Brembo road and race callipers, as well as a full selection for all other OE callipers. Pads are available to match those originally supplied with Brembo callipers and in new super effective Sintered materials for most other motorcycles. Make no mistake, these are not just another ordinary after-market pad, but rather a world-class product, fitted as original equipment to thousands of motorcycles.

Street Bike Compounds
Carbon-ceramic compound has evolved from the previous organic compound, thanks to its higher carbon content. This type of material features good durability, good performance hot and cold, wet and dry. It is slightly less aggressive on the brake disc and is compatible with both steel and cast iron discs. It is the ideal brake pad for enthusiastic mileage eaters.
The new SA(front) and SP(rear) sintered compounds are excellent for the latest generation sports bikes. Manufactured through a particular production process, these brake pads have a high friction coefficient, excellent initial bite and are excellent in both wet and dry weather for fast road use.

Competition Compounds
The SC (front) pad is a sintered race pad specifically for competitive race use. It has a very high and stable friction coefficient particularly at the extremely high temperatures generated in racing and track-day use. It is not suitable for use on rear discs!
The RC (front) pad is a carbon ceramic road racing pad, again specifically for race use. It has a very high and stable friction coefficient, particularly at the extremely high temperatures generated in racing. However, this carbon ceramic pad has slightly softer initial bite and a more progressive feel than it’s sintered equivalent. It is not suitable for road use and should not be used on rear discs.

Off Road Compounds
Two sintered compounds for off road and supermoto use, formulated to withstand high temperatures and the harshest conditions, particularly in the presence of abrasive agents such as sand, water and mud.
The SD compound allows for more modulated braking and is ideal for Road, Enduro and MX use; whereas SX compound has a higher friction coefficient for more aggressive braking and is ideal for Supermoto, Supercross and MX racing.
