A new brand? I don’t think so.
Perhaps the name may be unfamiliar to some enthusiasts, but the company has been supplying Original Equipment components to the motorcycle industry for several generations. It employs more than 1000 people and its customers include, Aprilia, BMW, Ducati, Honda, KTM, MV Agusta, Suzuki and Yamaha to name but a few. Their skill and expertise is vast and leads to their manufacturing products as diverse as frames for Aprilia, crankcases for Ducati 1098 and brakes for much of the industry. What is new, is Grimeca’s entry into the aftermarket industry, starting with the new DR and DS Disc lines.

For decades, Grimeca has supplied the main motorcycle manufacturers with braking systems. Now, for the first time, you can take advantage of this experience and expertise in the aftermarket, with the new DR line discs. Same stainless steel, same technology and certified manufacturing processes, to ensure the same quality and reliability afforded to the OEM systems fitted to your motorcycle.

Grimeca offers two lines of brake discs. DS-Special Performance includes high-performance parts for the most demanding motorcyclists and DR-Original Performance offers just the right spare disc for every motorcycle.
Our products' specifications and performance are the best guarantee of quality:

• Stainless steel core.  
• Billet Ergal hub (floating version).  
• Sheared ends and exposed cut edges paint-coated to prevent oxidation.
• Both sides radially ground to extremely tight tolerances.
• Lightweight design concepts counteract naturally occurring “stretch” in the direction of rotation for improved braking control and comfort.


   




Based on 50 years' experience, Grimeca
developed the DS Line - SpecialPerformance range: perfectly round discs with the added benefit of variable-profile lightening slots in the braking surface. This Grimeca exclusive slot design combines the sturdiness and stability typically associated with
round discs, with the advantages of variable-profile discs, such as heat dissipation and removal of water, mud and dust, for more effective braking under extreme conditions.
